Positive School camp Experiences
Camp Experience That Builds Confidence, Connection & Community
CYC Blue Lagoon offers an environment where students grow in teamwork, independence and confidence through engaging, hands-on experiences by the sea. Our programs are fun, affordable and designed to align with F–10 based experiential learning outcomes while promoting social and emotional growth.
Teachers appreciate how easy we make it. From program planning and booking to coordinating transport and visits to nearby Tasmanian attractions. Our experienced coordinators take care of every detail so educators can focus on creating meaningful, memorable learning experiences for their students.
Easier School Camp Planning
CYC Blue Lagoon Makes Camp planning easier for Teachers
Traditionally the most frustrating part of organising camp is the administration: allocating rooms, organising special diets and arranging support for any medical or special need requirements. With our easy to use self-service portal this is a thing of the past, with group leaders now able to upload information to us easily as well as download important information such as Risk Assessments and compliance documentation.
Our program planning staff will liaise with your group leader to ensure that we meet your specific learning objectives. Through instructor-led outdoor education activities programmed to complement your own school program, or a full camp program with instructor-led outdoor education activities – from design through to implementation.
We look forward to working together with you to create a memorable experience for you and your members.

For over 70 years, CYC has been a place where young people feel safe, supported, and truly seen. Our camps are more than just adventure and fun—they’re designed to help young people grow in confidence, build lasting friendships, and explore faith in a way that’s relevant to them.
We know that for some campers, home life can be challenging. That’s why we create an environment where every young person feels valued, heard, and supported. Surrounded by caring Christian leaders and fellow young believers, campers can ask big questions, explore their faith, and experience God’s love in a real and personal way.
With accredited facilities, trained staff, and a strong foundation in Christian values, CYC is a place where young people can step away from life’s pressures, find community, and discover hope for the future.
Safety is our top priority. Every CYC Limited facility is accredited by the Australian Camping Association (ACA) and the National Accommodation, Recreation and Tourism Accreditation (NARTA), both recognised by the Victorian Education Department. Our camps follow strict safety protocols to ensure a secure and supportive environment for all campers.
Our volunteers undergo extensive training and vetting before working at camp. Many have attended CYC camps themselves and are passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for young people. Adventure activity staff are certified and signed off by a Level 3 ropes course instructor and workplace trainer before leading any activities.
CYC has been running Christian youth camps for over 70 years, providing life-changing experiences for thousands of children and teens. With decades of expertise, we create an environment that balances fun, faith, and personal growth.
Every CYC adventure activity staff member is professionally trained and assessed by a Level 3 ropes course instructor and workplace trainer before leading activities. We also use industry-approved equipment and follow strict safety procedures to ensure all activities are run safely and professionally.
Every camp is led by a team of highly trained staff and carefully vetted volunteers. We maintain strict supervision ratios and ensure all leaders create a supportive, encouraging, and inclusive atmosphere for campers.
All camp staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures, and our campsites are equipped with safety plans, emergency communication systems, and trained personnel on-site at all times. Parents can have peace of mind knowing that their child’s safety is always our highest priority.
CYC is a Christian organisation, and our core ministry focuses on faith-based Holiday Camps during school holidays. However, when hosting schools, corporate retreats, sports teams, or special interest groups, we are fully respectful of different beliefs and do not preach or provide religious instruction unless specifically requested by the group.
Our focus for all groups is to provide exceptional camp experiences in a welcoming and inclusive environment, ensuring that everyone enjoys their time without pressure or expectations around faith. If you have any concerns, we encourage an open conversation to tailor your camp experience to suit your group’s needs.
